A woman in China has had an escape so lucky, we're hoping she went straight out to buy a Lotto ticket afterwards.

The unnamed woman was walking through a shopping centre in Zhejiang Province when she tripped and fell into a tank full of sharks.

Yes, apparently Wuyue Plaza thought it was a good idea to have a shark tank that was not only smack bang in the middle of their mall but also accessible to employees.

Apparently the woman actually works at the centre and was rushing to get to a meeting, leading her to take a shortcut across the catwalk on top of the tank.

Unfortunately, the feeding hatch was left open and the woman tripped right over it and into the water below.

Check out the video footage:

Two of the lemon sharks immediately started circling but a spokesperson for the centre told the media that she was rescued quickly enough to escape injury.

"The gangway is off limits during feeding time but the employee was in a rush to get to a meeting,"

"She was quickly rescued from the tank and did not suffer any injuries."

While lemon sharks aren't thought to be a huge threat to humans, there have been a number of unprovoked attacks on humans in the past.
