A YouTube prankster who jumped off a bridge into the Brisbane River has been ordered to face court.

Luke Erwin was taking part in something called the 'silly salmon' with fellow Youtube "star" Jackson O'Doherty which, when challenged by someone, you have to jump into the nearest body of water.

And that body of water for Erwin when he was completely, 100 per cent randomly challenged by O'Doherty was when they were walking over the Goodwill Bridge, forcing Erwin to jump off the 15m high bridge into the Brisbane River.

This is a terrible idea for several reasons, mainly because the Brisbane River is full of Bull Sharks and potentially deadly bacteria.

For this really funny prank, Erwin emerged from the river unscathed, but stinking to high heaven.

The pair were then arrested by local police 20 minutes after the prank after being dobbed in by security.

The pair will be fronting up to court on February 19, facing a charge of “unregulated high-risk behaviour“...
