Central Coast Stadium will host the inaugural Legends of League tournament in November this year.
The retro festival will feature six teams - Brisbane, Manly, Newcastle, Parramatta, Canterbury & the Barbarian - of nine stars of yesteryear playing nine 30-minute matches back to back on Saturday the 18th.
The teams are competing for over $100,000 in prize money, while a percentage of the gate takings to be donated to the Mark Hughes Foundation to directly support Beanies for Brain Cancer.
Some of the biggest names in Rugby League have been recruited to play including Wendell Sailor, Gordon Tallis, Steve Menzies, Danny Buderus, Kurt Gidley, Nathan Hindmarsh, Willie Mason and Craig Wing, while legendary whistle-blowers Bill Harrigan, Sean Hampstead and Steve Clark will officiate.
