North Queenslander Brendan Dawson has one dream that you can help to make a reality.
The 28-year-old has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a condition that causes degenerative muscle wastage.
Brendan's dream is to be able to continuing enjoying the outdoors, but he doesn't have the right equipment at the moment.
"My family currently owns a 1997 Toyota Hiace Commuter with over 700,000kms on the clock and a recent trip to the mechanic's for a routine service revealed that the old girl hasn’t got much left in her despite years of doing our best to maintain her," Brendan wrote on his GoFundMe account.
His condition requires an adequate vehicle to transport him, and this is where you come in.
Nearly $1000 has been raised for 'A Bus For Brendan' on crowd funding site GoFundMe.
The Ayr local is not fussed on whether the vehicle is second-hand or brand new, 'as long as it’s reliable and has air-conditioning'.
