Councillor Ryder is keen to give the clip to Paul Hogan himself, getting the ball rolling with filming at the Aussie Hotel on Palmer Street yesterday.
You'll spot some familiar faces too-Mayor Jenny Hill and pub regulars were roped in as extras in the trailer.
