Football clubs across the region are being invited to register for an exciting pre-season AFLX competition in Borden later this month.
Borden Football Club will play host to the 2018 AFLX CUP on Saturday 24 March.
The winner of the 12-club carnival will walk away with $3000 to add to its club’s coffers, with the runner-up to take home $1000.
Teams will be placed into two competition pools with the winners of each pool to play off in the Grand Final.
AFLX is the AFL’s new seven-a-side pre-season format consisting of two 10-minute halves played on a rectangular field. Other unique rules include the 10-point super goal, registered for goals kicked from outside the 40m line.
Registration for the 2018 AFLX Cup in Borden is $300 per club.
