The 2018 Bloom Festival, coordinated by Hidden Treasures of the Great Southern is calling for Expressions of Interest from anyone wishing to participate in this springtime festival. The Bloom Festival not only showcases the region’s unique wildflowers but also offers a range of activities and events for local communities and visitors alike and will take place from Saturday 22 September to Sunday 21 October.

The festival will be held in the Hidden Treasures region of the eight Great Southern shires of Cranbrook, Broomehill-Tambellup, Plantagenet, Woodanilling, Gnowangerup, Katanning, Kojonup and Kent.

Now in its eighth year, the Bloom Festival with its many events, hopes to attract more than last year’s 15,000 visitors to the region and to match the record number of events of 2017. Visitors will enjoy the incredible landscapes and natural beauty of the Great Southern region that forms the backdrop to wildflower displays, guided tours, open gardens, workshops, long table meals prepared with local produce, art exhibitions, craft activities and more.

The Bloom Festival offers an opportunity for community groups and local businesses in the Hidden Treasures region to become a part of this exciting initiative to promote and showcase the area. Event holders will benefit from a range of marketing campaigns and exposure at no cost. They will also receive support from the Bloom Festival Coordinator.
