Little Shop Of Horrors is the latest production for the Albany Light Opera And Theatre Company

Directed by Airell Hodgkinson and Musical Direction by Findlay MacNish
Little Shop of Horrors is a light-hearted musical based on a B-grade horror movie. The music is 60s, catchy and upbeat, with lots of attitude, rock, doo-wup and Motown.

It was made into a movie in the 1980s and is a popular choice for school and amateur groups. Set in a flower shop in the rough neighbourhood of Skid Row in New York, the storyline follows a deadbeat florist's assistant, Seymour, in his quest for money, love and fame, aided by a plant that is literally from out of this world. But the path to success is littered with sacrifices, both physical and emotional.

Season starts May 4th and finishes on the 26th of May.
