From flower-seller to elegant lady of high society, My Fair Lady is the story of the transformation of Eliza Doolittle from working-class Cockney into someone acceptable to the aristocracy. Pompous phonetics professor, Henry Higgins, is so sure of his abilities that he takes it upon himself to teach Eliza to speak properly and transform her into a member of the upper-class. Eliza agrees, however, she has ideas of her own about her future. Despite Higgins' success in helping Eliza, they clash when he treats her callously.

Will Eliza’s future prospects improve as a consequence of the project? Will Higgins’ arrogance get in the way of his fondness for Eliza and a chance for love?

One of the greatest musicals of all time and a searing commentary on class consciousness, My Fair Lady is a comic romance with love, perseverance and emancipation as central themes.
