BENDIGO BEDMAN SWINGS A CLUB FOR 24 HOURS

Two Men, 24 Hours of Golf, non-stop to raise money and awareness for a little boys fight with a Terminal Genetic Condition known as Battens Disease.

James Boyd is the Owner of Forty Winks in Bendigo. His Employee, Robert Spark is the Father of Zephyr who has Battens Disease. Both Men share a love of Golf as does Zephyr, so a genius idea from James to play 24 Hours straight was born to raise much needed funds for the family.

The Bendigo Course is 6040 Meters; We hope to circle the course at least 6 times.
Totalling 36.24 Kilometres.

The event will be held at and supported by the Bendigo Golf Club.

James and Robert will be teeing off at 8.30AM on Monday 3rd December 2018.

There will be a BBQ from 5.30PM on Monday.

James and Robert would love some company through the early hours of Tuesday morning, so feel free to contact us if you would like to play ahead or behind us during the night.

All through Monday 3rd December, the Bendigo Golf Club will be donating a portion of all green fees to Zephyr. We ask that everyone who comes out for a round enjoys themselves and lets us play through, fill out a card with your details, we will love seeing all the names of those who came out and supported us.

You can support the event by:

  • Printing out a sponsorship form and asking as many people as you can to either:
    • Donate directly,
    • Pledge an amount per hole the Men complete in the 24 Hours,
    • Pledge per Birdy or Par the Men make during the 24 hours.
  • Plan a round of golf J

We can’t wait to see how many holes James and Robert are able to complete, and we hope you will follow Zephyr’s progress by liking and following his Facebook page at ‘Chronicals of Zephyr’.
