CFA OPEN DAY
Huntly Fire Brigade is having an Open Day. Community members can see fire training drills, such as Entrapment and fire turn out drills, there will also be static displays from other local community groups, information on how to prepare for the coming bush fire season and what to do when faced with a bush fire.
Brigade members will also be on hand during the day with a range of fire safety information and advice, as well as a sausage sizzle and fun activities including creating fire safety posters, a colouring table, a treasure hunt, an evacuation test activity, fire safety quiz and more. Keep an eye out for Captain Koala and Smoky the smoke alarm.
This will be a great day of fun and also provide both young and not so young people with potentially lifesaving information.
So come on down to your fire station and join us for a great day!
