About the Show:

This year WAYJO is hitting the road and visiting our regional centres including our very own town of Merredin!

WAYJO is Australia’s leading youth jazz orchestra and one of the country’s cultural gems. It provides a unique experience for jazz musicians aged 14 to 25 who are the absolute cream of young jazz players from Western Australia and beyond.

Competition for places is fierce. Those who make it are amongst the nation’s best young players and are rewarded with career-defining experiences including touring, training, recording and performing with world-class guest artists.

In 2018 the Monday night orchestra will be performing a selection of hits across Regional Western Australia as they travel to Northam, Kalgoorlie, Merredin and Narrogin on their Goldfields-Wheatbelt Tour, from the 30th of April to the 5th of May, and from the 17th to the 20th of July, WAYJO be visiting York and Moora before spending some time in Geraldton.
