Country Week 2017:
Country Week is an annual event in Clifton district.
WHEN: Friday 20th October – Saturday 28th October
WHERE: Clifton Seniors Hall, 1 Meara Place, Clifton
TIME: From 8AM
This family friendly event includes Queensland's only Iris & Rose Show (this year is the 22nd year of the Show), Collect-O-Mania, buy swap or sell from your collection, Bingo, Garden Comp, Scarecrow Comp, Recycling Comp, Spring Lunch, Art Show, Artisans At The Markets, and more.
The last day of Country Week is rounded off with the Annual Clifton Race Day, the biggest one day event of the year, in Clifton. Theme for 2017 - "You're Never Too Old".
Events are being held in various locations in Clifton.
2017 Toowoomba Expo:
The 2017 Event will host an extensive range of quality home and lifestyle products including building, renovating, green living, home improvements, homewares, kitchenware, electrical, pools, spas, finance, gardening, solar energy and heating, and loads more.

The Caravan and Leisure Expo is a huge success and returns with a great range of products and services for getting outdoors and enjoying the warmer months ahead with family and friends, with the latest caravans, camper trailers, auto and 4WD accessories, camping equipment and more on show.

Toowoomba Backyard Gardeners and Produce Market:
Toowoomba's own Plants, Gardening and Produce market is held the 3rd Saturday of the month.
WHEN: Saturday 21st October
WHERE: North State School, Taylor Street
TIME: 7AM – 12:30PM
Local plants, garden items, produce such as fruit, vegies, olives, from local people (Toowoomba and Surrounds).
Call in check it out and grab a bargain for the garden or yard.
While you are there grab a sausage sizzle and a cold drink and support your local charity group.

Toowoomba Gemfest - Gem and Jewellery Show:
This is a great event for the whole family!
WHEN: Saturday October 21st – Sunday October 22nd
WHERE: Centenary Heights High School, Ramsay Street entrance
TIME: 9AM – 5PM
Selling a wide range of cut and uncut gemstones, jewellery, semi-precious gemstones, beads, pearls, fossils, opals, crystal and mineral specimens from all over the world.
Carvings from precious and semi-precious stones are great for gifts, including Christmas presents.
All items are for sale. The kids will love the Fossicking for Children area. Gemstone testing/identification will again be available. This is a free service to the public, done by a member of the Gemmological Association.
Missing a gemstone in your jewellery? Bring it along and see if you can find a matching gemstone and have it set on site.
Create your own unique piece of jewellery: purchase a setting and select your favourite gemstone and have it set before you go home.
There will also be tickets for three fabulous jewellery raffle prizes for sale; hourly lucky door prizes.
Inside the hall, around 25 gem traders come from Central Queensland in the north, to Sydney in the south and put together this two-day spectacle.
There will also be 30-40 traders also sell their merchandise outside the hall.
