Toowoomba Backyard Gardeners and Produce Market is on this weekend.

The market will run tomorrow Saturday 18th from 7:00am - 12:30pm at the North State School in Taylor Street, Toowoomba.

The market is increasing stalls to include produce and they are looking for growers and makers of the following produce: fruit, veges, chutney, jams, Olives, honey, ETC.  You will still find their fantastic gardeners and plants.

 

Oakey Show

You can't beat the Oakey Show!  Tomorrow Saturday 18th is Oakey Show Day.  Kicking off at 8am and finishing at 10pm at the Oakey Showgrounds, Showgrounds Road, Oakey.

It will a fun-filled, jam packed day including:

Livestock: Horses, Stud Beef Cattle, Angora Goats, Poultry, Pigeons, Caged Birds, Guinea Pigs, Dog Championships.

Entertainment: FireworksCrack Up Sisters, Young Farmers Challenge, Mini Rodeo, Ute Muster, Dog Jumping Challenge, Master & Miss Tiny Tots, Fashion Parade, Chainsaw Events, Pet Parade, Young Judges Competition.

Pavilion Exhibits: Floriculture, Cookery, Needlework, Handcraft, Art, Photography, Scarecrow Round Up, Farm Produce, Fruit & Vegetables, 

Entry charges - Adult     $10

Entry charges - Child     $3

Official opening at 11:30am

 

City Designer Markets

City Designer Markets return in 2017 for another amazing year of markets and pop up events.

The Designer Markets are a unique concept mixing shopping, food, live music, free family activities & good vibes. It’s a destination shopping venue showcasing high quality boutique products from local businesses.

There will always be something edgy and one of a kind on offer so make sure you check them out!

Southern Downs Steam Railway Warwick to Clifton

What a great way to spend a night!  A magical journey across the Darling Downs and Granite Belt in a diesel engine!

This is a night trip and includes dinner at Club Hotel Clifton.

Passengers need to be at the station at least 30 minutes before departure.

WHEN:  Sunday March 19th

WHERE: Warwick Railway Station, Warwick Train Station, Sawmill Street, Warwick

TIME:  10:00AM - 3:00PM

ENTRY CHARGES: Adult $40

 

Gatton Street Sprints

This one is for all the rev heads out there!  The gates will open at 7:00am tomorrow.

Admission is $20 and on Sunday everyone is just $10!

It's all happening at Tenthill Creek Road, Gatton where you'll get to witness burn outs, demo power skids youeven have the opportunity to win a ride in one of the drifting cars!

There is a food court for all your hunger needs!

 

Shave for a Cure

It's happening right across the region this weekend.  Plenty of people are either going to be colouring or shaving their hair for this great cause.

Events are taking place in shopping centres and pubs everywhere so don't forget to head out and support these events.

 

 

Sandy Creek Pig Races

You can check out the Sandy Creek Pig Races at 345 Sandy Creek Road, Sandy Creek.

Gates open at 1:30pm with the first race at 2:00pm

Adults are $15 and kids are just $10.

There will be a jumping castle an animal petting farm and the money raised will go to Lifeflight and Wheatvale State School.

Gotta love a good old fashioned pig race - you can't beat it!

 

Coca Cola Qld PGA

There's plenty of action at the Coca Cola Qld PGA which teed off today at the City Golf Club and will continue through tomorrow and Sunday.

Get out and support your favourite golfer while enjoying all the facilities the Club has to offer.

Social memberships are available.

Entry is FREE.
