Are the hot summer days at home getting a bit much for the kids? The answer might be to join one of the many activities that Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) is hosting during this school holidays.

From Pokemon Parties, swimming, cartoons, Mish Mash Sports, making movies and a Star Wars Day, these are all options to keep the kids amused during these summer school holidays.

If it is fun in the sun your little one is chasing then the pool is an obvious choice during these sizzling summer days. This holiday Milne Bay Aquatic and Fitness Centre has a range of activities including fitness and aqua classes, kid’s snorkelling and ‘learn to swim’ programs running through January.  But remember to slip, slop and slap.

If calisthenics is more your cup of tea then check out the fitness classes and Mish Mash Sports that Highfields Fitness and Recreation Centre have on offer.  There is also an intensive ‘learn to swim’ program for children aged two years as well.
