Esperance Arts Clubs and Groups

Part 3

Flora and I are doing a series to bring you the great clubs and groups available around town. Whether you are a dancer, a musician or a board game enthusiast, there is (almost) a group or club for everyone!

Part 3 – Photography Club, Pottery Club AND Scrabble Club

Photographers are blessed with beautiful landscapes around the region and joining the photographers club, for hints and idea, can really enhance your amateur or professional portfolio. They meet the third Monday of every month in the Cannery Art Space. For more details contact, Julie Wylie on 9076 1215 or email [email protected]... quite a few of those snaps can be seen around town in the form of postcards!

You've seen the movie Ghost... that may inspire you to do pottery and join the Esperance Pottery Club. They get right into it every Thursday and Saturday from 11am til 4pm at the Cannery Arts Centre. More info at [email protected] or as at the Cannery. Feel free to pop in and say g'day. Perfect for those that like to use their hand to be creative and want to make ceramic bowls or pots etc.

It can cause family arguments and screaming matches so take your scrabble to the Esperance Scrabble Club. Work up a mental sweat thinking of the best word scores at the Esperance Senior Citizens Centre every Saturday at 1pm til 4pm.

Keep your ears and eyes on NEXT WEEK for more groups and clubs from around Esperance!
