Esperance Arts Clubs and Groups

Part 5

Article heading image for Esperance Arts Clubs and Groups

Flora and I are doing a series to bring you the great clubs and groups available around town. Whether you are a dancer, a musician or a board game enthusiast, there is (almost) a group or club for everyone!

Part 5 – No Lights No Lycra and the Recherche Writers Club

The dancing revolution strips dancing and music back to its bare essentials. The hint is in the name. Dim the lights, put on some loose fitting clothing, trackie pants, jeans and DANCE. Self expression dancing in the dark without judgement. It happens every Thursday night from 715pm at the Cannery inner Space Gallery. Don't forget your water! Look up No Lights No Lycra Esperance on the facebook page for more deets!

The Recherche Writers Club are always looking for creative writers from around town to join their ranks. Do away with your writers block and meet people that love to be creative. They have visiting writers come often and their anthologies are unreal. Recherche Writers meet on the first Sat of the Month  at the Masonic Village Hall off Eyre St from 10am, bring lunch to share if you want to stay on. Different topic for every month. Contact Lesley Higson for more details on 90715764.

Keep your ears and eyes on NEXT WEEK for more groups and clubs from around Esperance!
