Perhaps following the ANZAC Day celebrations last week you're feeling inspired or particularly patriotic. Perhaps you want a career with opportunity and variety. Or perhaps you just love wearing a uniform!
Either way the Australian Defence are coming to town to talk to anyone interested in joining the force.
Australian Navy leading seaman (NO ERROR HERE) Laura Frayling and Australian Air Force corporal Nathan Beck from the Defence Force Recruiting’s Specialist Recruitment team will hold three information sessions to raise awareness of the more than 200 roles on offer in the Defence Force, ranging from combat roles, to trades to admin and everything in between.
Laura and Nathan demonstrate just how varied roles can be in the force... LS Frayling, is a Navy Chef and CPL Beck resides in the Military as a Working Dog Handler.
Laura's go to meal for a large ship of men and women is beef strogonov and Nathan, believe it or not, used to work in radio! Both have found their way in the ADF and couldn't be happier.
All sessions are free of charge.
Sean chatted to the two on the show on Wednesday May 2, hear all about it at the Catch Up link on the Triple M website or on the app.
