Lake Monjingup is about to be reopened!
After being ravished in the January 2015 bushfires the area is slowly recovering, but needs some extra help with more seedlings needed to restore biodiversity, create habitat and protect the wetland.
Come down on Sunday 29 July with a positive attitude, a hat and enclosed footwear. Gloves, shovels and drinking water will be provided.
The team will meet at the Flora Park toilet block before planting seeds for a couple of hours or so. Everyone is welcome to join the group for a bite to eat in the new Environmental Centre after planting has finished.
