This Friday, May 11 a home-style Banquet and… Auction is taking place down at the Anglican Church Hall!

If you’re someone that loves auctions and bargains than this is the event for you. Local businesses across Esperance have donated items to be bid on, from travel agents to hotel accommodation to restaurant vouchers to clothing vouchers to dog vaccinations! Over 85 items will be auctioned off and very well could be yours, either for your own keeping, or for the kiddies or perhaps even an easy Mother’s Day gift solution! This isn’t including a couple of the bigger items that I am going to keep to myself to stop YOU from bidding on!

All the profits are going to an incredibly worthy cause. The Operation Christmas Shoebox appeal raises funds to put together ‘shoebox’ packages, with clothes, blankets and toys for refugee children who are stuck in limbo in Thailand refugee camps.

For more details, contact the Anglican Church or come down to the auction on the night! Starts at 6pm, but come down before to eye off the items available. The food will be a delectable meal that feels like it’s straight from mum’s kitchen and there will also be a short presentation about the Shoebox Appeal, and just how important your donation is to the refugee families in Thailand.
