More great talent will be hitting the stages of Esperance this weekend with a two great gigs tonight (Friday 28) before the AFL Grandy Final Festivities tomorrow.

Elli Shoen and Dan Howls and the Wolfgang are two quality acts from Perth. Elli has been found and flourishing on Triple J with original tunes ‘Gold Mess’ and her recent release ‘Shark’. She is best described as “too indie to be mainstream but too mainstream to be indie!” Go decide for yourself! Dan Howls and his gang of wolves have been kicking around for a while on the Perth/Fremantle scene, and the name of his band aptly describes his style. Gritty and dark vocals accompany an upbeat folky style, with brass and percussion wonderful music additions to his art.

The two are playing at the Esperance Civic Centre from 730pm for $30, grab tickets on the door or at the Esperance Shire.

For a free local gig head to the Travellers Inn. The central room will be hosting the Esperance music elite with Bec Shultz, Demi Vandenberge, Mel and Michael and Laura Petrie all strutting their stuff. Certainly, a bit of variety and a great atmosphere should carry you through the night.

Have a great weekend and enjoy your live music!
