A BBQ, Beer and Sports Bar Dedicated To Blokes Has Opened in Broadbeach

We've seen many delightful foodie hangouts grace the Oasis precinct over the past few months, but none have stood out quite like 'Bloke in a Bar'.

Ex-NRL player Denan Kemp opened the premium sports bar late November and has kept a pretty low profile, but with some high profiled 'drop ins'. 

The former Brisbane Broncos winger, turned bar owner, has an online show called 'The Locker Room' where he'll now be interviewing big names behind a glass studio in the centre of the bar. 

If you're lucky, you might catch some of the past and present players while you're there. 

The bar houses craft lager with no preservatives or artificial flavours, the modern beer and BBQ bar is designed for the blokes of the Gold Coast. 

With a traditional slow cooked American Barbecue & a studio where you’ll be able to watch live sport shows on four big TV screens. 

The bar is a first of its kind in Australia with local 'Bloke In A Bar' beers on tap.
