A Special Place To Commemorate ANZAC Day In Nerang This Year
Lest we forget.
It's a special day of remembrance, to commemorate veterans, service men and women who have selflessly served our country both past and present.
It's also a time to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice or suffered as a result of their service.
Nerang RSL & Memorial Club is a veteran in the local community in hosting an ANZAC Day to remember on 25 April.
Dawn Service
4:00am - Nerang Street will close from White Street to the Club
4:45am - Dawn Service Commemorations held at the Cenotaph in front of the Nerang RSL & Memorial Club
A complimentary traditional Gunfire breakfast will be served inside the club at the conclusion of the Dawn Service.
9:00am - Nerang Street, Lavelle Street and White Street will close. The RSL Club will open after the march and Commemorative Service.
Commemorative Service
9:20am - Assembly for march will begin at Bischof Park, Nerang Street.
9:40am - Parade Marshall will ensure the parade is ready for March Off
9:45am - March will proceed down Nerang Street to the Cenotaph in front of the club.
