It's here! An adorable guinea pig festival hits Nerang this weekend

They're the underestimated pet with a stout little body that makes them the cutest tail-less rodent we ever did see.

On 29th October at Country Paradise Parklands in Nerang, the Guinea Pig community will host the OctoberPiggyFest.

It's a celebration of all things Guinea Pig. Bring your pig, show off your pig, hell, you can even dress like a pig! 

They'll be stalls selling animal products, piggy portraits, piggy nail clipping, a piggy creche, piggy kissing booth and just about anything you that can add "piggy" to the start of!

Back by popular demand, the Guinea Pig Judging Competition will reward your pig if it's got the cutest butt, face, best hair, lips or if it looks most like its owner (imagine having that ribbon on your fridge?!). 

In return, they ask for a gold coin donation, that get's put straight back into supporting our Guinea Pig Rescues.
