Hold onto your hats Gold Coast, it's going to be an exciting couple of weeks, as the city hosts one of the biggest sporting events in its history.
Outside of the sporting arena, Festival18 will be in full swing with fun from North to South, one of which, NightQuarter Festival in Helensvale.
From tomorrow until April 14, popular food market NightQuarter will be open from midday to midnight across the 10 days, on a mission to feed and entertain visitors and locals with a jam packed line up.
Here are some of the key events for you to add to your calendar this week:
Late Night Bites
Just as the name suggests, this is late night dining at its finest. The markets will be open until midnight everyday with food vendors and bars, so you can stop in on your way home from any sporting event for a quick bite or to keep the party going with a few drinks! Hot Tip: There's free entry from 9pm onwards

Electrik Lemonade
If you haven't witnessed Electrik Lemonade in action, here's what you've been missing out on:A band of funklords that play a repertoire of funk, hip hop, blues, soul and dance music. Drawing on a unique blend of influences while combining their comedic and fun attitude toward life. With an energetic, visual music show - better bring your dancing shoes for this one!
