The objective of this workshop is to work collectively and individually to produce fun pieces of sculpture using up-cycled material and found objects.
You will be taught basic woodworking and metalworking techniques applied to sculpture.
Participants are asked to source material prior to the commencement of the course starting.
You are required to bring along a collection for your own use.
The more you have, the better your piece will be!
Materials can be sourced from your own property or any unwanted materials you may find lying around. Timber and light metals are preferred
Suggestions of appropriate items to bring:
Old wooden chairs, scrap timber pieces(shaped), old tools, old car parts (small), wire, rusty nails, old paint brushes, old cutlery, old washers, pressed tin, old cogs, old tin signs, old cow bells, old tins of paint, old kitchen tools, old horse’s shoes, bale hooks, old sheep shears, old plough blades.
