A blockbuster experience in Melbourne
Melbourne has quite the ‘super’ offering for kids these holidays, starting with the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. experience in Federation Square. Kids can make their dreams of being a superhero come true with highly-interactive Marvel experiences, from testing their strength against Captain America, to being in Iron Man’s suit using Augmented Reality (AR) technology. The Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. exhibition is on now until June 30. Book tickets from Ticketek.
From blockbuster to block builder, the Brickman Awesome Lego Experience at Melbourne Museum gives kids the chance to see record-breaking Lego creations by ‘Brickman’ Ryan McNaught. The exhibition includes a world-first look at a new life-sized Toyota Camry model, alongside other stunning creations, including the tallest Lego model in the Southern Hemisphere – a 7.5 metre tall NASA rocket! Get in quick before it blasts off – the exhibition closes April 29.

The magic of theatre in Brisbane
Brisbane’s vibrant theatre scene will show kids ‘A Whole New World’ this break. Disney’s Aladdin comes to life until early June, bringing all the magic of the original film to the stage with spectacular costumes, production design and, of course, music.
Another mystical children’s classic hits the stage between March 31 and May 12 with Brisbane Arts Theatre’s production of Roald Dahl’s The Witches. The classic story of a group of witches who turn children into mice, The Witches promises to be a “family-friendly adventure sure to excite even the oldest of your clan”.
