Gather the crew and join in on the fun at the inaugural RACQ CQ Rescue Emergency Services Day – to be held at Harrup Park this Sunday 29th of April from 10am-2pm.
Whether you've experienced an emergency first-hand or someone close to; emergencies affect us in many ways and when we need them most.
Often in times of strife, our region’s emergency services and disaster relief resources are there to help.
The day is an exciting opportunity for emergency services to showcase their vital work through demonstrations, exhibits and workshops.
Take a look inside, or even jump into the seat of different emergency service vehicles including the RACQ CQ Rescue helicopter, Queensland Police vehicles, Queensland Fire and Rescue Service trucks and Queensland Ambulances and many more!
A flyover by an EA-18 Growler is expected to be a highlight, as well as displays by the Australian Defence Force including war-ready trucks and a huge troop-transport Chinook helicopter.
This region's rescue helicopter service RACQ CQ Rescue will also perform a winch demonstration for the crowd.
And you don't need to pack a thing - they'll be free face painting and jumping castles for the kids as well as food and drinks galore.
Entry into the event is a gold coin donation and all proceeds from the event will support RACQ CQ Rescue.
Triple M breakfast show hosts Jay and Dave will be live on site from 10am - 1pm so come say hey!
