Movie Night: 'Chasing Coral' at Majestic Cinemas Wednesday 29 Nov

Climate Change Australia Hastings and Coastal Warriors are hosting a screening of Chasing Coral (non Profit) Wednesday the 29th of November at 6.30, majestic Cinemas Horton St, Port Macquarie- 

Coral reefs around the world are vanishing at an unprecedented rate. A team of divers, photographers and scientists set out on a thrilling ocean adventure to discover why and to reveal the underwater mystery to the world. Motor Fest Wauchope Saturday 18 November.

Wauchope Motor Fest Saturday 18 November

Wauchope will again host the Moto Fest - a celebration of Wauchope being a Motor Cycle Friendly town.

Gladstone Market Sunday 19 November

The Gladstone Quality Market is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month, with the emphasis on “make it, bake it, grow it”. Sunday the 19th of November will be one of the biggest markets of this year giving shoppers the opportunity to buy the freshest of local produce for their celebrations and unique gift items from a variety of stall holders and local businesses.

Celtic Folk are a small group of friends who have come together to play Celtic style music.

Dave and Carol have been playing guitar and singing together for the last 2 years. Dave’s musical preference is largely Beatles’ era rock and roll. Carol likes the more folky sound.

Kundabung Country and Farmers Market at the Kundabung Hall Sunday 12 November

The next Kundabung Country and Farmers Market at the Kundabung Hall is on Sunday the 12th November at 9am. There will be some great Christmas ideas as well as the usual poultry , plants, produce and scones with jam and cream.

This month another local artist will be exhibiting their works inside the hall so go along for a pleasant morning, look at the art exhibition while you sample some morning tea .

Food from the BBQ can also be eaten inside so  relax, and enjoy the country market under the gum trees.Stalls are only $5 and can be booked on 0432122247  Please stop and look for trains at the crossing.

Seaside Scavenge Saturday 11 November

On the 11th November Town Beach will be transformed into a beach-cleaning haven thanks to the trash trading action that will take place. Seaside Scavenge turns litter into a currency that is used to purchase pre-loved clothes and goods that have been pre-donated by the wider Port Macquarie community.

Ford owners Club Day Sunday 5 November 

The Show N Shine will be held at Westport Park with bump in between 7.00 and 9.00am with presentations around 1.00pm. At the All Ford Day there will be Shannon's Super Rig, market stalls, food and drink stalls and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service Hastings Support Group BBQ. There will also be a pinup competition hosted by Velvet-Rose's Pin Up Dressing Room. A great family day out.

Raffles will be held on the day with prizes of one nights accommodation plus breakfast from Mercure Centro Hotel, Port Macquarie, various local businesses, and a locally made retro petrol pump. Tickets for the raffle are $2 each, or 3 for $5.

All money raised on the day will be donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service Hastings Support Group.

Serenade Concert Anglican Church Hall Kempsey Sunday 5 November

The Macleay Choristes are holding their Serenade Concert at the Anglican Church Hall in Kempsey at 4pm, with a light supper provided after the concert.

CANCELLED - North Shore Rural Fire Brigade Fund Raising Day Sunday 5 November 

The North Shore Rural Fire Brigade has had to cancel it's fundraising event. 

Head shave for a Cure at Laurieton United Services Club Saturday 4th November

Support the Cancer Surgery Research Foundation by coming on Saturday 4th November to Laurieton United Services Club at 9:30 am for a sausage sizzle organised by Camden Haven Paddlers for a gold coin.

There will be a head shave at 10 am. The event will be held in the downstairs sports bar by the car park.

Aldavilla is holding their 25th Anniversary Celebration on Wednesday 1st Novemeber. The event starts at 9.30am and includes a Choral preformace, Speeches from former Principles, tours of the School and Exhibitions from students.

Rotary Club Third World Dinner at Nambucca Heads Wednesday 1 November

Third world dinner to be held at the Senior Citizens Hall Nambucca Heads.

Proceeds to be shared among:

  • KINI –  African School, run by Nambucca Valleys own Barbara Parkins 
  • Fijian Schools Project
