Astronomy classes for beginners
The Astronomical Society of the South West will conduct Astronomy Classes for Beginners at their Observatory, Keble Heights, College Grove, Bunbury, for six consecutive Thursdays, commencing on Thursday the 8th of March 2018 at 6.00pm, thereafter at 6.30pm.
This is a great chance for anyone keen to learn more about what's up in the night sky and a perfect entry point into the world of astronomy! Some of the things covered include:
How the solar system formed
The Planets
The Moon
Star classification
Types of star clusters
Galaxies
Different telescope types and how to use them and much more!
