Museum To Commemorate Anzac Day

The Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre are currently holding an Anzac Day exhibition up until May 2nd.

The exhibition centres on local service people who served during World War I.

A feature of the exhibit – on loan from the Bunbury RSL – will be a WWI German Spandau machine gun.

As part of the Anzac Day commemorations, national award-winning photojournailst David Bailey will be presenting a free talk at the Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre on at 11am Friday 20 April.

The talk is titled Pozieres – If Gallipoli was where the Anzac legend was forged, then the Western Front was where it was tempered.
