After success in London’s West End, the Edinburgh Festival and the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Don’t Shoot Me, I’m Only The Piano Player heads to BREC on Wednesday 25 July at 11am.

Created and performed by internationally regarded solo musical comedy performer David Scheel, Don’t Shoot Me, I’m Only The Piano Player is a hilarious send-up of classical music. Scheel an Australian born pianist first tasted success in England starring in the popular satire News Revue on London’s West End. He soon turned to devising solo shows, the result Don’t Shoot Me, I’m Only The Piano Player.

Audiences can expect to hear beautiful music, familiar tunes played in the styles of old masters and two famous pieces played simultaneously, one with the right hand and one with the left. While delivering these musical pieces Scheel tells stories of his career, delivers sharp-edge commentary on celebrities and equally topical digs at politicians.

All audience members are treated to a complimentary morning tea served in the Stage One foyer at 10am, one hour prior to the performance.

The first of many morning performances at BREC Don’t Shoot Me, I’m Only The Piano Player shows for one time only on Wednesday 25 July at 11am. Tickets to the performance are available now online from bunburyentertainment.com or by calling the Box Office on 1300 661 272.
