What: Communities throughout the Border and North East are urged to shake off the winter blues and get behind the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund’s major fundraiser this September.
The main activities to include a family fun day, charity golf day and Rutherglen wine tour. However, schools, businesses, sporting clubs and community groups are encouraged to start making plans now for a Sunshine Week event of their own.
Last year's event raised over $60,000 with the funds used for new medical equipment, staff training, cancer research and the operation of the Wellness Centre.
