The Lake Hume Cycle Challenge Is This Weekend

Calling all Lycra fans! The Johnsons MME Lake Hume Cycle Challenge is on again this Saturday, with Border riders set to hit the roads for a a great day out. Not to mention, they'll help raise money for a great cause, with all proceeds going to the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund and Border Trust. In the past six years the event has raised over $100,000!
The all-ages event has something for everyone; from family-friendly runs of 2km along bike paths, right up to 118km road routes for more experienced riders.
All rides start and finish at the Wodonga Racecourse where from 10.30am, a free CHILL Zone will allow participants to rest and revive.
Attractions will include a giant inflatable waterslide, vintage bike display, face-painting, complimentary massages, food stalls, chilled drinks including slushies, sorbets, beer and wine, and entertainment from talented local musicians.
RoadSafe North East will also offer a bike education skills course for kids aged six to 13 years.
