Year 5 students at Trinity Anglican College are rallying around one of their classmates by participating in World's Greatest Shave this June.

Hunter McBurnie was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma in August last year. Due to several rounds of chemo and radiation treatment, he hasn't been able to attend school in between hospital stays due to his weakened immune system. Hunter received a bone marrow transplant 5 weeks ago.

Hunter's teacher and classmates have decided to participate in World's Greatest Shave, with more than 35 students having signed up already and more are signing up each day.

To get amongst all the fun at Trinity, here are the details:

Date: Friday 22 June
Time: 10:15am
Location: Trinity Anglican College Multipurpose Hall
Trinity Team Hunter will be taking part in World’s Greatest Shave to help raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation, providing support to families facing a blood cancer diagnosis and helping find life-saving research towards cures for blood cancers.
