Indigo Quilt Exhibition
Friday 25th-Sunday 27th  August

The Indigo Quilt Exhibition has been showing off the work of talented Border quilt makers for 5 years. The quilts are made by the ladies who attend workshops, and 'sit and sew' fun days.
Entry to the exhibition is by gold coin donation, with all proceeds going to Alzheimers Australia.

Family Violence Community Legal Information Session
Wednesday 30th August, 8am-9am.

Family Law and Family Violence presentation by Hume Riverina Community Legal Service (HRCLS). Guest Speaker, Alison Maher Lawyer with HRCLS. Guest speaker Ms Maher will explain how the family law works in children’s matters where parents have separated as well as information on how to refer to HRCLS and what options are available for families needing assistance.

The Corowa Historic Vehicle & Machinery Club invite you to their Spring Fun Weekend, with vintage vehicle and engine displays, a vingtage tractor road run, and vintage tractor pull practice. On the Saturday night an auction will follow a BBQ dinner.

Wodonga CFA Firefighter Stair Climb
Saturday 2nd September

Wodonga CFA seek your help to fundraise as they undertake the Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb. The endeavour will see members of our local brigade "Step up to fight Depression, PTSD and Suicide" by climbing the 28 floors of Crown Metropol Hotel wearing 25kgs of Turnout Gear and Breathing Apparatus!

Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Sunshine Week
September 17-23

Communities throughout the Border and North East are urged to shake off the winter blues and get behind the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund’s major fundraiser this September. Last year's event raised over $60,000 with the funds used for new medical equipment, staff training, cancer research and the operation of the Wellness Centre.
