Gold Coast co-captain Tom Lynch is the Triple M Footy Cbus Player of the Week for round four.
The star forward put on a goalkicking clinic against Carlton on Saturday night, booting seven goals straight and guiding his side to a comfortable 26-point win at Etihad Stadium. It was just the Suns’ third ever victory at the Docklands venue.
The seven-goal haul was the biggest of Lynch’s career and at one stage he had kicked five of Gold Coast’s first six goals.
In an age where wayward kicking for goal is plaguing the entire competition, Lynch’s accuracy against the Blues really stood out.
The 24-year-old also had 19 possessions and 12 marks to round out a superb performance in which he lead from the front.
